The Alabama Music Educators Association (AMEA) is dedicated to nurturing exceptional future music educators in Alabama. The Eleanor Nation FAME Scholarship, offering a $1,000 award, honors aspiring music educators who demonstrate high standards, inspiration, and leadership. Recipients are selected based on their academic and musical achievements, the quality of their essay, and the strength of their recommendations. The winning essay is featured in the AMEA magazine, Ala Breve. Nominations are accepted until May 31st each year.
