The following message was posted by President Wilson concerning Garry Taylor’s recent accident:
Garry Taylor, former Executive Director and current Editor of the Ala Breve for the Alabama Music Educators Association was recently involved in a very serious vehicle accident. His injuries are severe, and he is undergoing treatment at UAB hospital in Birmingham. Garry’s family has requested no visitors at this time while he recovers but solicits your prayers. We, the governing board and all of AMEA, stand united in our well wishes and positive thoughts for Garry and his family. We will update whenever we receive news.
